Wonderful Stay Near the Marina
great location helpful staff
The location was fantastic, offering easy access to many attractions. Staff members, from the front desk to the kitchen, were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided a lot of variety, offering delicious options. Our room was spacious and comfortable, which helped.
There was no coffee in the room. Every hotel provides coffee. There was also no kettle, and every hotel provides a kettle. I did not think this was acceptable.

The staff was genuinely friendly, and they were ready to assist with any questions. The reception staff was very helpful. They answered many questions. The kitchen staff also provided excellent service during breakfast hours.

The room had a good shower and was of a decent size. The cleanliness in the twin room was very good, and the towels were changed daily. The bathroom included an all-in-one gel and shampoo product.

fantastic stay near the gothic quarter!
clean room great amenities surprise veranda convenient location
The room was clean, a big plus! the amenities really enhanced my stay. i was thrilled to discover a veranda. It became my favorite spot to unwind and soak in the views (morning coffee there was amazing!). its proximity to la rambla, about a 20-minute walk, and the gothic quarter, maybe 15 minutes away, was super convenient.
the ac stopped working one night, it was a bit annoying, but i just opened the veranda door for some air and everything was ok.

Staff members offered quick assistance when the ac malfunctioned in my room. They were ready to move me to another room immediately, which i thought was very thoughtful. the reception area was always staffed and quick to assist with directions, providing maps and bus schedules whenever needed. the check-in process was quick and efficient.

although i did not have many meals at the hotel, i observed that the breakfast area was well-stocked with fresh pastries, fruits, and various hot dishes each morning. the coffee machine was easy to use and offered a wide selection of drinks. the dining area looked very clean.

the hotel includes elevators for easy access to all floors, something really useful with luggage. i noticed a luggage storage service near the reception. there's also vending machines for drinks and snacks near the lobby area, a lifesaver when you need a quick bite.

the hotel has a fantastic location near many restaurants and bars. it's easy to walk to several popular attractions from the hotel. public transportation, including bus stops and the metro, is close making it easy to explore further (i loved that!).

i found the building well kept despite its age. my room had a balcony terrace i used often. the bathroom was very clean. i appreciated the convenient location near many attractions within walking distance

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues
ineffective soundproofing superficial cleanliness
The soundproofing was not effective. I heard noise from the ventilation shaft. My room lacked a window to allow fresh air. The cleanliness was superficial. It needs improvement, particularly in the bathroom. I could feel the springs in the mattress, which impacted my sleep.

ineffective air conditioning malfunctioning tv
the air conditioning was not effective in the room they assigned to me. this resulted in a uncomfortable temperature throughout my stay. furthermore, the television did not function properly, i found this very irritating. there were no alternative solutions offered by the staff. i require better attention to detail in the future.
